1. Giving and Tithing Bring Increase of Wealth!

If you ask some of the world’s most successful people what their secret of success is, they would tell you that giving is the secret of success. It is a law of the universe that what you give out will come back to you multiplied. Abundant people may create business to make money. But it is not their business workings alone that bring them the success. It is actually their giving that prospers them. The more they give outside of their business, the more their business prospers and the wealthier they become.

It is not the act of giving or the amount that truly matters, but it is the consciousness of giving. When you give with a consciousness of lack and having lesser than before, you will create more lack with your giving. That is because your giving is not giving, but it is losing. When you give with a consciousness of abundance and knowing that more will return to you, then your giving will bring you a multiplied return. The effect of increase actually happens at the moment you have the consciousness of giving itself.

The result of your giving is also influenced by the intent of giving. When you give with the intent of requiring something in return, it is not a gift but a bribe. True giving is to give with the intent of expressing your abundance and not requiring anything in return. You may have the consciousness of receiving a multiple return with your giving but you do not have the intent of requiring it. Your giving is free and without attachment. You give with joy and let go of what happens. If good comes back, you simply enjoy it.

A gift must not be blind, lame and weak. It must have vision, be able to do something and must be able to do it powerfully enough. Don’t simply give without knowing what exactly your giving will lead to. Choose to give to people who have vision rather than those who don’t. Choose to give to people who will actually put your money to good use for themselves and society rather than to those who will remain where they are. When you give, do so with an amount that will have a significant impact, or else don’t.

The kind of gift you offer will also determine the kind of return you get from the universe. You can give an excellent gift or a poor gift. What’s the point of giving stuff that is spoilt, worn out, low quality and undesirable? These kinds of stuff are meant to be thrown away. Giving poor gifts to the poor only perpetuates the conditions of poverty. Wealth conscious people don’t bother with giving poor gifts to the poor minded. They’d rather give quality gifts to quality people, which attract quality returns to themselves.

A tithe is one tenth. Ten is the number of God. When you give a tenth of all your increase to the house of God, you are giving God the right to bless all your possessions. God will rebuke the destroyer which means your material things will have supernatural preservation and protection. Tithing is the greatest form of insurance there is. God will also open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be enough room to receive it. Tithing is the highest form of investment you can make.

Give with awareness. Giving knowing what effect your giving will have. Give where your giving will do good. Give to where there is wealth consciousness. You will notice that when you give to people or places that have greater wealth consciousness, the effect of your giving and the return you experience will be more impressive than when you give to people or places with lesser wealth consciousness. Giving involves both the giver and the receiver. Give with the right consciousness to those who also have it.

When you do not have enough awareness of what your giving will do, then you don’t have to give. Don’t buy into the illusion of need or lack around you. You might see people who come to you in need of your money, but if you do not really understand their situation and also have no clear intuitive prompting to give, then don’t. Always follow the principle of non interference. You never know when your giving may actually do more harm that good according to the universal scheme of things. Be a wise giver.

To be a powerful giver, you must also have the freedom not to give, and have a totally guilt free mentality about not giving. You do not need to give because all lack and limitation are illusions. Giving is an expression of your abundance and graciousness in a world of illusion. You can choose when and how to express this abundance. You are abundant whether you give or don’t give. Give in alignment with your higher consciousness. Give not according to appearance but according to purpose and inspiration.

Your giving will have the greatest effect when it is done with the right consciousness. It is not just the act of giving but the consciousness behind it that creates the results. Give with the consciousness that God is your source and supply, and that your source is abundant, and you are expressing that abundance by giving. Know that you can never out-give your source and as you give abundantly, much more will be given back to you as a reflection of consciousness. Give with consciousness of God-Abundance.

It is most important to give with joy and gratitude. The energy that you give with is the results that you get. If you give grudgingly, unhappily or reluctantly, then you attract similar conditions of receiving in life. Giving with negative energy benefits neither giver nor receiver. Giving with negative energy only reduces abundance when it is actually meant to increase abundance. Give with positive energy and your gift will be a true blessing to yourself and this world. Being a cheerful giver draws the love of the universe.
